Itinerary

 

Day 1: Haridwar to Govindghat (290 km / 11–12 Hrs)

 

 

  • Pick-up from Haridwar Railway Station / Dehradun Airport

  • Drive through scenic towns of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Joshimath

  • Arrive at Govindghat, check-in at the hotel

  • Dinner and overnight stay in Govindghat

 

 


 

 

Day 2: Govindghat to Ghangharia (10 km trek)

 

 

  • Post breakfast, drive to Pulna Village, trek starting point

  • Begin the 10 km trek along the Laxman Ganga River, surrounded by forests and waterfalls

  • Reach Ghangharia, a quiet village nestled in the Himalayas (Altitude: ~10,000 ft)

  • Dinner and overnight stay in Ghangharia

 

 


 

 

Day 3: Trek to Valley of Flowers – Return to Ghangharia

 

 

  • After early breakfast, proceed for the Valley of Flowers trek

  • Obtain entry permits (₹150 for Indians / ₹600 for foreigners for 3 days)

  • Cross the Pushpawati River bridge and explore the vibrant Valley of Flowers, filled with exotic alpine blooms

  • Trek back to Ghangharia by 4:00 PM

  • Dinner and overnight stay in Ghangharia

 

 


 

 

Day 4: Trek to Hemkund Sahib – Return to Ghangharia (4 km one way)

 

 

  • Begin an early morning steep 4 km trek to Hemkund Sahib

  • Take a dip in the sacred Hemkund Lake, believed to wash away sins

  • Offer prayers at Hemkund Gurudwara and visit the ancient Lakshman Temple

  • Enjoy langar (community meal) at the Gurudwara

  • Return to Ghangharia for dinner and overnight stay

 

 


 

 

Day 5: Ghangharia – Govindghat – Badrinath Dham – Mana Village – Govindghat

 

 

  • Trek down 10 km to Govindghat

  • Proceed to Badrinath Dham, one of the four sacred Char Dham shrines

  • Visit Mana Village, India’s last inhabited village near the Indo-China border

  • Return to Govindghat for dinner and overnight stay

 

 


 

 

Day 6: Govindghat – Haridwar / Dehradun Drop

 

 

  • After breakfast, check-out from hotel

  • Drive back to Haridwar / Dehradun, en route enjoy views of the Alaknanda valley

  • Drop at Railway Station / Airport for your onward journey

  • Tour concludes with blessings and memories! 🙏
